False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements
These programs start at NCV level 2 and the bare minimum need would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.
Once the student finishes NCVLevel more info 2, they'd then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade twelve.
NCV Level four is at the exit level, staying comparable to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).
Grade nine is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two which happens to be equivalent to an NQF level 2.
On which type of students are suited for these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that classic education is not really necessarily the only real way of getting an artisan or getting skilled therefore if a student knows from an early age what their interests are, the NCV programme is actually properly suited to that student.
False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
